Make a mind map by naming the topic and its branches
A mind map is quick to start and slow to tidy: by the tenth idea the branches are tangled. Name the topic and the branches you want; the AI fills them with ideas, and Kaavit lays the map out around the topic with every branch in its own direction.
The prompt: Mind map for planning a team offsite: venue, agenda, travel, budget, activities, food. Give each branch three or four ideas.
How the mind map generator works
- 1Open the AI prompt and name the topic and its branches — or only the topic, and let the AI suggest the branches.
- 2The AI writes the ideas and joins each one to its branch; it never places anything — Kaavit's layout spreads the branches around the topic.
- 3The map lands as ordinary shapes and lines. Reword an idea, recolour a branch, or drag an idea somewhere else — its line follows.
- 4Not what you meant? Revert it in one step, and ask again.
From ideas to a plan
Vote on the ideas worth doing — the counts stay hidden until the vote ends — then select the winners and ask the AI to turn them into a plan, a matrix or a roadmap on the same board.
Questions
Can I add to the map later?
Yes. Add an idea and connect it by hand, or select part of the map and ask the AI for more ideas.
Is the AI free to use?
The Free plan includes a one-time AI trial for your organisation, and the Team plan includes AI credits for every member. Using AI needs a verified email address.
